Houston, TX – Child Struck & Killed by Vehicle on Kuykendahl Rd

Houston, TX (July 11, 2020) – An inexperienced driver struck a child in the Houston area, causing fatal injuries. Just after 1 p.m., on July 10, emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 13000 block of Kuykendahl Road.

Reports from police show that a 3-year-old child was walking on the sidewalk with their older sibling when a driver struck the young child as they pulled into a parking space. The 3-year-old child was transported via Life Flight to Texas Medical Center where they succumbed to their injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
