Houston, TX – Woman Killed in Truck Crash on Eastex Freeway (I-69)

Houston, TX (July 8, 2020) – An automobile accident on Tuesday afternoon claimed one woman’s life. At approximately 2 p.m., on July 7, the Houston Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 15900 block of Eastex Freeway.

Reports from the HPD show that a black Hyundai Genesis was traveling south on Eastex Freeway when the vehicle crashed into a semi-truck. The driver of the Hyundai sustained fatal injuries in the collision. She was immediately declared deceased at the scene. At this time, police are investigating the collision.
