McKinney, TX – One Killed in Truck Crash on US-380 (E University Dr)

McKinney, TX (June 22, 2020) – At approximately 10:20 a.m., on June 20, the Texas Department of Public Safety and emergency crews in McKinney responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 380.

Reports from authorities show that a pickup truck and a concrete truck collided along US Highway 380 near the intersection with New Hope Road. The incident resulted in a major traffic delay through the east and westbound lanes.

One person involved in the crash was fatally injured and declared deceased at the scene. A second victim was injured in the accident and transported to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
