Lubbock, TX – Two Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Slaton Rd

Lubbock, TX (June 21, 2020) – At approximately 10:40 p.m., on June 20, the Lubbock Police Department responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in the 100 block of Slaton Road.

Reports from the LPD show that a multi-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle took place along the roadway for unknown reasons. After the collision, the motorcycle burst into flames.

Two people involved in this crash were fatally injured. Four others suffered serious injuries and were rushed to local hospitals for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit.
