Houston, TX – Officer & Civilian Injured in Telephone Rd Crash

Houston, TX (February 23, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Saturday evening left two people injured.

At around 7:15 p.m., on February 22, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 5000 block of Telephone Road. Reports indicate that a police officer was responding to a dispute in the area near Chick-Fil-A when his vehicle was struck by a van near Winfree Drive.

The officer and the driver of the van were both injured in the collision. Both victims were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
