Katy, TX –Accident on Katy Hockley Rd Results in Injuries

Katy, TX (February 20, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Tuesday left one victim injured.

During the evening hours of February 18, authorities were called to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident involving an Amazon delivery vehicle in the 5600 block of Katy Hockley Road.

Reports from the Harris County Sherriff’s Office indicate that the driver in a Dodge Challenger crashed into the side of the Amazon truck causing extensive damages to both vehicles. The driver of the Dodge then jumped out of their vehicle and fled the scene on foot.

The driver of the Amazon vehicle was seriously injured. Life Flight responded to transport the male victim to an area hospital.

The Houston Crime Stoppers are currently investigating.
