Young Dallas Boy Struck And Killed By Teen Motorist

A Dallas child was struck and killed by a car on Highland Hills Drive outside of Dallas this week.
No charges have been filed against the driver of the car, as a witness has confirmed that the driver was not speeding and as the driver stopped to help the child he had hit.
The Dallas News reports that 6-year-old Keldrick Darden ran out into the street from between two parked cars when he was hit by an oncoming 18-year-old driver. The driver stopped and helped the child, who was rushed to Methodist Dallas medical Center where he soon died.
While neighbors to Darden say that many cars speed along the suburban road, witnesses say that the driver that hit the boy was not speeding at the time of the pedestrian accident, which took place near Bonnie View and Simpson Stuart roads.
