Travis County, TX – Two Injured in Truck Crash on I-71

Travis County, TX (January 24, 2021) – A crash reported n Travis County left two people injured on Saturday evening, according to local news reports. Just before 7:20 p.m., on January 23, the Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 71.

Reports from authorities show that a semi-truck and a second vehicle were involved in a crash on Interstate 71 near the intersection with Ross Road by the Del Valle High School.

The crash left the smaller vehicle with moderate damage. Two people involved in the accident were transported to South Austin Medical Center for the treatment of serious injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
