Travis County, TX – Four Firefighters Injured in Crash on TX-71

Travis County, TX (February 14, 2021) – An accident reported in Travis County sent several firefighters to area hospitals with injuries. At around 8:39 a.m., on February 13, the Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene of an accident on West Texas State Highway 71.

Reports from authorities show that a firetruck with the Pedernales Fire Department was traveling in the 16000 block of West Texas State Highway 71 during the morning hours when it rolled over.

Four firefighters who were in the vehicle at the time of the crash were injured. All four victims were transported to area hospitals via EMS for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
