On February 8, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on South General Bruce Drive. Reports indicate that a pickup truck and a small sedan collided along the roadway at the intersection with South 57th Street.
One person involved in the collision was fatally injured. The victim was identified as 22-year-old Miguel Berumen.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
