Reports from the Sheriff’s Office show that two vehicles collided on the eastbound side of Highway 80 near East fork Road, just east of Mesquite. One person was located at the scene of the accident with fatal injuries. The victim was immediately declared deceased. A second victim was critically injured. They were rushed to a local hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
Two other victims involved in this crash suffered undisclosed injuries. Both victims were hospitalized for further treatment. At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
