Sugar Land, TX – One Injured in Truck Crash on US-59 (I-69)

Sugar Land, TX (September 17, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Sugar Land area on Monday sent one person to a local hospital with injuries. At approximately 7 a.m.., on September 14, the police in Sugar Land responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 59 (Interstate 69).

Reports provided by local news sources show that a black Chevrolet Camaro was traveling on US Highway 59 when the vehicle collided with a semi-truck near the area of Texas State Highway 6.

The impact of the collision caused the semi-truck to roll over and careen down the highway. After an unknown distance, the truck came to rest on its side.

The driver of the Chevrolet sustained injuries in the accident. The victim was rendered aid at the scene and transported to a local hospital for further assistance. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured.

At this time, the Sugar Land Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
