Spring, TX – Woman Loses Life in House Fire on Hampton Terrace Ln

Spring, TX (August 22, 2020) – A residential fire reported early Saturday morning has claimed the life of one woman in the Spring area. At approximately 2:30 a.m., on August 22, the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office was called to the scene of a fiery incident on Hampton Terrace Lane.

Reports show that a major fire incident occurred inside a residential structure located in the 24300 block of Hampton Terrace Lane. Crews arrived at the scene of the incident and located a significant amount of fire and smoke coming from the backside of the structure. They received a report that a woman was trapped inside the home. Fire crews attempted to enter inside the home but were unable to do so due to the heavy flames bursting from the structure. After battling the blaze and knocking down the fire, crews were able to enter into the structure. Once inside, crews located an 81-year-old female deceased inside the home. Investigations surrounding the cause of the fire are currently underway. No other person involved in this incident was injured.
