San Benito, TX – Jose Alberto Garcia Killed in Accident on TX-100

San Benito, TX (June 6, 2020) – At approximately 10:20 p.m., on June 4, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 100.

Reports from DPS indicate that 41-year-old Jose Alberto Garcia was attempting to cross the highway when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle. Garcia suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was declared deceased at the scene.

At this time, police are investigating.
