Reports indicate that a female pedestrian was walking down the roadway, near Weidner Road, when she was struck by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicles fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
A passerby spotted the woman and rushed to the area and called for assistance. Sadly, the woman was declared deceased at the scene.
The SAPD is currently investigating the accident.
