Orange County, TX – Summer Nichols & Starr Jeanise Killed in Crash on TX-62

Orange County, TX (September 5, 2020) – A car crash reported in the Orange County area claimed the lives of two people on Thursday afternoon. On September 3, the Orange Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Texas State Highway 62.

Reports provided by authorities show that 18-year-old Summer Nichols was driving a Chevrolet Impala north on Texas State Highway 62 with one passenger, 21-year-old Starr Jeanise, when they crashed into a Ford pickup truck, head-on.

Starr Jeanise and Summer Nichols were both killed in the accident. A third person was seriously injured in the accident. The victim was rushed to a Southeast Texas hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
