Reports from authorities show that a pickup truck and a concrete truck collided along US Highway 380 near the intersection with New Hope Road. The incident resulted in a major traffic delay through the east and westbound lanes.
One person involved in the crash was fatally injured and declared deceased at the scene. A second victim was injured in the accident and transported to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
