On February 29, a young girl was riding a skateboard in the area of McKinney Fire Station #7, off Independence Parkway, when she was struck by a motor vehicle.
The small child was seriously injured in the crash. PHI medical helicopter responded and transported the child to Children’s Medical Center Dallas. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries shortly upon arrival.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
