Amarillo Police have identified 53-year-old Martin Lowell Cline as the victim of a fatal forklift accident that occurred at 4512 N.E. 24th Avenue in Amarillo, Texas (the construction site of the new Amarillo Diocese Pastoral Center).
Police stated that at around 11:00 a.m., officers responded to a construction site where a forklift accident had been reported. Martin Cline (who was working for Plains Builders, Inc.) was said to have been underneath a large forklift, in front of the rear tire on which he was working, when another worker drove the machine over him.
Cline was transported to a nearby area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
