Laredo, TX – 2-Vehicle Accident on I-35 Leaves Driver Injured

Laredo, TX (March 23, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident near the Border Patrol checkpoint on Sunday morning resulted in injuries. Just before noon, on March 22, emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 35.

Reports indicate that a semi-truck and an SUV collided along the interstate near the US Border Patrol checkpoint. The impact of the collision sent the truck into a cement barrier and yellow poles along the roadway.

The driver of the SUV was injured and rushed to an area hospital for treatment.

At this time, police are investigating.
