La Marque Man Files Personal Injury Lawsuit After Hit-And-Run

La Marque Man Files Personal Injury Lawsuit After Hit-And-Run
According to local news sources, Richard Coles, of La Marque, was driving a vehicle on the feeder road alongside northbound I-45 when he slowed for traffic. The truck driving behind him, a Challenger Towing Inc. truck driven by Dickinson resident Grady Bolton, failed to slow down with traffic and rear-ended Coles. He suffered serious injuries and his car was totaled in the crash. Bolton allegedly fled the scene of the Houston truck accident.
The court documents state that Cole is suing for unspecified monetary damages and claims that Bolton failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to keep a reasonable distance, and failed to brake. The court papers also state that Bolton was speeding in the moments before the crash.
It is unclear how the tow truck was located after the crash or whether that vehicle incurred damage during the collision.
