Juarez Family Suffered Multiple Injuries in Randlett, OK Accident

DEVOL, OK (07/17/2016) — A two-vehicle accident Sunday morning near the Kiowa Casino has left several members of the Juarez family hospitalized.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a head-on collision on Oklahoma 36 (County Road N2500) in Cotton County, Oklahoma left five people injured: 24-year-old Macy M. Juarez, 25-year-old Reyez Juarez Jr., 48-year-old Reyez Juarez Sr., and a 6-year-old girl (all from Ira, Texas). Also injured in the auto accident was 80-year-old Susie W. Beisch.

Officials reported that Beisch was traveling northbound on 36 in a Honda CRV when she failed to yield right-of-way when turning left and struck a southbound Lexus sedan (driven by Macy Juarez) head-on.

Macy was taken to United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas for treatment of internal and external trunk injuries. Reyez Jr. and Reyez Sr. were transported to the same hospital for treatment. Reyez Jr. was treated and released with hand injuries; Reyez Sr. was admitted and remains in fair condition. According to Trooper Tyrone Dixon, a 6-year-old girl who was also in the Lexus was taken to OU Medical Center for leg injuries.

Beisch was flown to the OU Medical Center, where she remains in fair condition.

Officials cited Beisch for failure to yield right-of-way.
