Reports from the HPD show that a black Hyundai Genesis was traveling south on Eastex Freeway when the vehicle crashed into a semi-truck. The driver of the Hyundai sustained fatal injuries in the collision. She was immediately declared deceased at the scene. At this time, police are investigating the collision.
