Houston, TX – Truck Crash on Mykawa Rd Claims One Life

Houston, TX (October 28, 2020) – One driver is dead following a crash early Tuesday morning in Houston. At approximately 1:15 a.m., on October 28, the Houston Police Department responded to the site of a crash on Mykawa Road.

Reports from authorities show that a cement truck and a Toyota Avalon collided on Mykawa Road at the intersection with Madden Lane. The driver of the cement truck stated that they were making a turn into the 10000 block of Mykawa Road at the intersection with Madden Lane when their vehicle was struck by the second vehicle.

The driver of the cement truck was not injured in the crash nor did their vehicle sustain any damage.

The driver of the Toyota sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
