Reports show that at around 11 p.m., a Nissan Altima, driven by Marvin Buck, was traveling westbound along the roadway when it was struck by a red Toyota Tacoma. The driver of the Toyota, who was later identified as Sergio Milla Iglesias, fled the scene of the accident on foot but was apprehended.
A one-year-old girl inside the Nissan, as well as Buck, were both seriously injured. Both victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment. The young child was later declared deceased.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with Marvin Buck at this time. We hope for his full recovery.
We would like to offer our condolences to the family of the deceased victim at this time.
