Reports from authorities show that 66-year-old Alfred Sanders was traveling east on US Highway 60 in a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck when his vehicle collided with a 2019 Freightliner truck tractor. Sanders was fatally injured in the accident. Emergency crews responded to the site of the collision and declared Sanders deceased at the scene. At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
