Haltom City, TX – Officer Injured in Dog Attack on Dunson Dr

Haltom City, TX (July 6, 2020) – An incident early Sunday morning left one officer injured, according to reports. Just after 12:30 a.m., on July 5, a crew of Haltom City officers responded to an incident near Dunson Drive.

Reports show that three dogs were running through the area and attacked an officer for the Haltom City Police Department. The crews arrived and attempted to take control of the situation. Officers were able to apprehend the three dogs and free the officer from their grasp. The officer suffered injuries in the incident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
