Reports from the GPPD show that a 13-year-old driver took a vehicle and went on a cruise down East Main Street. The young driver lost control of the vehicle on East Main Street, near the intersection with Jefferson Street. As a result, the vehicle struck a group of pedestrians. One pedestrian, who was identified as a 52-year-old woman, was fatally injured in the crash. Several other victims were rushed to local hospitals for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
