Law enforcement reports indicate that a semi-truck was traveling east on Farm to Market Road 1093. Witnesses say that the driver ran a red light as the vehicle passed through the intersection with Farm to Market Road 359.
As a result, the semi-truck crashed into a second truck at the intersection. At least one of the vehicles collided with a transformer and a power pole, causing an electrical outage in the area.
The driver of the semi was treated for minor injuries while at the scene, where the driver of the other truck was fatally hurt and pronounced deceased.
The police department and Fulshear are investigating the crash.
