Fort Worth, TX – Drowning Incident on Sunridge Circle Leaves Child Injured

Fort Worth, TX (September 24, 2020) – A drowning incident reported in the Fort Worth area sent one child to an area hospital with very serious injuries. On September 20, at around 8 p.m., emergency crews were called to the scene of a drowning incident at the Horizons at Sunridge community.

A group of people at the premises were utilizing the swimming pool. After some time, a child was located in the property’s swimming pool unconscious. The child, who is approximately 10-years-old, was using the pool with his grandparents and various other people.

Crews performed CPR on the child for between ten and fifteen minutes before loading the child into an ambulance. The child was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment of critical injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
