According to the Dallas News, an unidentified Texas worker was severely injured while on the job at a meat factory in Fort Worth. The TX industrial worker, who remains unidentified by the media, suffered what is being called a “traumatic amputation” while working at Frontier Meats.
The accident occurred at approximately 8:30 AM on May 26 and the man was immediately rushed to a Dallas hospital by helicopter for treatment. The man remains in critical condition following the Fort Worth on-the-job accident. Information about the worker injury was gathered from the fire department that responded to the accident scene about by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
The worker accident history at Frontier Meat, which is located on North Grove Street in Fort Worth and which is known for producing wild meats and gourmet meats, is not known at this time. Both the meat factory and Texas safety authorities will be investigating the cause of the worker accident and worker injury.
