El Paso, TX – Motor Vehicle Accident on I-10 Claims Two Lives

El Paso, TX (August 28, 2020) – An auto accident reported on Thursday afternoon claimed the lives of two victims near Sierra Blanca.

At approximately 2:45 p.m., on August 27, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 10.

Reports show that a collision involving motor vehicles took place at mile marker 101 on Interstate 10 East. The crash resulted in severe damages to the involved vehicles.

Two people were critically injured at the scene. DPS and US Border Patrol agents attempted to render aid to the victims at the scene. Despite life-saving efforts, both victims passed away as a result of their injuries. No other injuries were reported in this accident. At this time, the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
