Corpus Christi, TX – Officer Killed in Crash on TX-358

Corpus Christi, TX (February 1, 2020) – At around 9:45 p.m., on January 31, three patrol vehicles were stopped along State Highway 358 conducting a traffic stop. While stopped along the side of the road, a vehicle slammed into the rear-end of one of the vehicles.

Two officers inside the vehicle sustained critical injuries and were both rushed to a local area hospital for treatment. One of the officers passed away due to the extent of their injuries.

Our thoughts are with the victim injured in this collision, as well as their family, at this time.
