Bryan, TX – 12-Year-Old Boy Injured in Accident on Sandy Point Rd

Bryan, TX (April 15, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident involving a young child resulted in serious injuries.

On April 12, just after 6:30 p.m., police in Bryan were called to the scene of a major collision in the 2300 block of Sandy Point Road. Reports show that a Nissan Titan was traveling south along the roadway when it struck a 12-year-old boy, who was riding a bicycle along the shoulder.

The boy suffered critical injuries in the crash and was rushed to Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Medical Center in Temple for treatment.

The driver was cited for the incident. At this time, police are investigating.
