At approximately 6:05 a.m., on February 3, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 14. Reports from DPS indicate that a man was walking westbound along the side of the roadway when he was struck by an 18-wheeler.
The man, who is believed to be in his 30s, suffered fatal injuries in the collision and was immediately declared deceased.
At this time, DPS is investigating.
