Bedford, TX – Motorcyclist Struck & Injured on TX-183 (TX-121)

Bedford, TX (September 22, 2020) – An automobile accident reported overnight on Sunday left one rider seriously injured in the Bedford area. Just after 1 a.m., on September 20, the Bedford Police Department was called to the scene of a crash on Texas State Highway 183 (Texas State Highway 121).

According to reports, a motorcyclist was traveling on Texas State Highway 183 when their vehicle was struck by a light-colored truck near Central Drive. The impact of the crash caused the rider to be ejected into the eastbound lanes.

The rider sustained multiple serious injuries in the accident. Medical personnel rendered aid at the scene of the crash to the victim before rushing them to an area hospital for treatment of traumatic injuries.

At this time, the Bedford Police Department is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
