Arlington, TX – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on S Cooper St

Reports provided by local news sources show that a motorcyclist was traveling north on South Cooper Street when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle turning onto Cooper Street at the intersection with Sturgeon Court.

The motorcyclist, who was identified as a 50-year-old man from Arlington, was critically injured in the crash. He was rushed to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle who caused the crash initially fled the scene. The driver was later apprehended by authorities. The driver, who was identified as a 28-year-old male, was charged with intoxication manslaughter and being involved in an accident involving death.

No other injuries were reported in this accident. At this time, the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
