Anderson, TX – Truck Crash on TX-90 Leaves Three Injured

Anderson, TX (July 16, 2020) – A semi-truck accident reported on Tuesday morning sent three victims to local hospitals with serious injuries. At approximately 8:40 a.m., on July 14, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in Grimes County.

Reports from DPS show that a semi-truck was traveling north on Texas State Highway 90 when it crashed into a second semi-truck after entering into the southbound lane near Holland Creek Bridge. The first semi-truck then went on further to collide with a Ford pickup truck.

Both semi-truck drivers were seriously injured. One driver was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital while the second was rushed to CHI St. Joseph Regional Health Hospital. The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries. The victim was provided treatment at the scene of the accident. At this time, the collision remains under investigation with the Texas Department of Public Safety.
