Amarillo, TX – Seth Dee Killed in Motorcycle Crash on I-40

Amarillo, TX (May 30, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Interstate 40 claimed one victim’s life on Friday.

Just after 11 p.m., on May 29, the Amarillo Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 40.

Reports show that 39-year-old Seth Dees was traveling west in the 1300 block of Interstate 40 on a 2005 Harley Davidson, with a female passenger, when his vehicle collided with another motorcycle. The impact of the collision caused Dees to be ejected from his bike.

While lying in the road, Dees was struck by a pickup truck. The man suffered fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

The female passenger sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

At this time, police are investigating.
