At around 10:35 p.m., on March 16, the Amarillo Police Department received a request for assistance regarding an auto collision along Amarillo Boulevard.
Reports from the Amarillo Police Department show that a 53-year-old driver was traveling north along Polk Street in a 2008 Acura MDX. At the same time, a 23-year-old male was traveling east on Amarillo Boulevard in a 2013 Honda Accord.
As the two vehicles passed through the intersection of Amarillo Boulevard and Polk Street, they collided.
Both drivers, one adult passenger, as well as a 6-year-old male who were inside the Acura, were all transported to area hospitals with injuries.
The APD is currently investigating.
