Abilene, TX – James Rowdy Stone Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Grape St

Abilene, TX (October 30, 2020) – A motorcycle accident reported in the Abilene area claimed one man’s life on Thursday evening. On October 29, the Abilene Police Department responded to the scene of an accident on Grape Street.

Reports provided by local news sources show that 31-year-old James Rowdy Stone was riding a motorcycle through the intersection of Grape Street and Jameson Street when his vehicle collided with a pickup truck.

The impact of the crash caused severe injuries for Stone. He was rushed to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. No one inside the second vehicle sustained injuries as a result of this accident. The driver remained at the scene and spoke with the police.

At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
