Reports from DPS show that a Hyundai Accent was traveling on the northbound side of the intersection when the vehicle collided with a semi-truck near mile marker 359. The driver of the Hyundai sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was immediately declared deceased. At this time, the accident remains under investigation.
