Houston, TX (November 1, 2023) - A state trooper was hurt after being involved in a crash with a transport truck in the Houston area on Tuesday, October 31.
The accident occurred on Mason Road where Colonial Parkway turns into Park Row Drive. The trooper was reportedly involved in a pursuit when they collided with an Amazon truck. The officer had lights engaged when the 18-wheeler entered the intersection, and both vehicles collided.
The area was closed for several hours while emergency responders were present. The trooper was transported to Texas Medical Center for treatment of sustained injuries. No updates on their conditions have been provided at this time.
No additional information on the crash has been made public.
