Wichita Falls, TX – Man Killed in Industrial Accident on Austin St

Hunt County, TX – Alaina Portillo Killed in Head-On Crash on US-69

Just before 11 a.m., on February 3, the Wichita Falls Police Department was called to the scene of an accident in the 1500 block of Austin Street. Reports state that a male was cutting tree branches in a tall tree, approximately 30 to 40 feet high, when he slipped.

After the man slipped, he became entrapped in the tree. The male suffered head trauma during the incident. Sadly, the man suffered fatal injuries in the incident and was declared deceased at the scene.

At this time, WFPD is investigating.

Wichita Falls, TX (February 4, 2020) – An industrial accident claimed one man’s life on Monday morning.

Just before 11 a.m., on February 3, the Wichita Falls Police Department was called to the scene of an accident in the 1500 block of Austin Street. Reports state that a male was cutting tree branches in a tall tree, approximately 30 to 40 feet high, when he slipped.
