Frisco, TX – Fatal Accident Reported on Preston Rd

Reports show that a fire started on a boat near the Lake Weatherford Marina located on West Lake Drive. The fire caused the boat to go underwater. Six people were on board at the time of the fire.

Four victims involved in the incident were transported via air ambulance to hospitals for emergency treatment. Two others were transported via ambulance for further treatment of injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Texas Game Wardens.

Weatherford, TX (August 30, 2020) – At approximately 3:20 p.m., on August 29, officers with the Weatherford Police Department and firefighters from the Weatherford Fire Department were called to the scene of a fire incident on Lake Weatherford.
