Austin, TX – Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on San Jacinto Blvd

On February 6, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 35. Reports indicate that 25-year-old Cody Smith was riding along the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 when he lost control of his motorcycle. Smith was ejected into the road.

After Smith landed on the road, he was struck by a pickup truck. Smith suffered fatal injuries and was immediately declared deceased.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
