Texas Fatal 18-Wheeler Crashes
Sharing the road with a large tractor-trailer can be hazardous for anyone, particularly those riding in passenger cars. Nearly 98 percent of the approximately 500,000 semi-truck collisions that take place across the nation each year involve someone riding outside of the rig. About 130,000 Americans suffer injuries from semi-truck collisions each year, and families of those killed in such collisions may be eligible to make a claim for damages.
Losing a family member can seem like someone who is nearly impossible to bear. Many families do not even consider filing a claim for damages following a fatal trucking accident. However, you might discover in the future that someone else’s carelessness, recklessness, or misconduct was to blame for your loved one’s tragic death. If this is the case, the offender or party in question should be held responsible.
