DPS reports show that three semi-trucks collided along US-54 just 11 miles northeast of Stratford. The impact of the collision caused two semi-trucks and their trailers, as well as the third trailer, to burst into flames.
Two people involved in the collision were fatally injured. At this time, the incident remains under investigation with DPS.
The victims were later identified as 26-year-old Viorel Lungu and 40-year-old Stephen Lott Jr.
