Reports indicate that 46-year-old Edwardo Valdez was traveling east along US Highway 84 when he began to slow his vehicle to make a right turn near County Road 2950. As Valdez’s vehicle slowed, he was rear-ended by a semi-truck.
Valdez was injured in the collision. He was transported to University Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
At this time, DPS is investigating.
