Reports show that a female pedestrian was walking down the roadway, between the area of Farm to Market Road 982 and Lake Lavon Bridge, when she was struck by an eastbound vehicle. The woman sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was immediately declared deceased. An investigation surrounding the cause of the collision remains underway at this time.
